”Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh” Genesis 2:24
Marriage is the union that makes a man and woman become one flesh. But, what happens when those who are unwed have intimate dealings?
When spirits entwine that are unprotected by God’s grace it is easier for demonic forces to take control of relationships. Unholy soul ties are actually more dangerous than many of us realize.
Soul Ties among young people are more common today than yesteryear due to the breakdown of the family structure and more parents losing interest in the church. However, those of us who know better should be a beacon of light to those who are spiritually blind. Individuals who are unable to ascertain and cope with spiritual warfare should be made aware that unholy soul ties play a major role in bringing about single parent homes, confusion, suicide, depression and a host of other soul stirring occurrences.
It is imperative that we remain cognizant of the fact that the ungodly transference of spirits through intimacy e.g, kissing and sexual intercourse will lead to spiritual darkness.
Listed below are seven results stemming from unholy soul ties:
1. Breakdown of communication
2. Unsure of your Identity
3. Reluctant to acknowledge good in others
4. Refuse to recognize other peoples pain
6. Anxious all the time
7. Judgmental and pessimistic
Fortunately all soul ties are not unholy. We have intimate bonds with family members, friends, teachers, doctors and people in our communities that positively contribute to our well being. In part two of the blog “Soul Ties” I will elaborate on the affects/effects of healthy soul ties.
Four ways to break an unholy soul tie:
A) Recognize what‘s happenning
B) Pray about it and repent
C) Forgive yourself and those who hurt you
D) Release them in mind, body and soul
Stay tuned for ”Soul Tie” part two!
